{"id":227,"date":"2025-01-08T21:57:57","date_gmt":"2025-01-08T13:57:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/silkroadholiday.com\/?page_id=227"},"modified":"2025-11-11T17:55:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T09:55:11","slug":"cancellation-refund-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/silkroadholiday.com\/sg\/cancellation-refund-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Cancellation and Refund Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 40px;\">Cancellation and Refund Policy<\/h1>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 30px;\">Deposit Requirement<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>A deposit of S$500 per pax is required to confirm your booking.<\/li>\n<li>The deposit is refundable under certain conditions, outlined below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 30px;\">Cancellation by the Client<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cancellation Fees \u2013 Only Deposit Paid<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation more than 30 days before the tour<\/span><br \/>Refund of the deposit will be provided, less an administrative fee of 10% (S$50 per pax).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation less than 30 days before the tour<\/span><br \/>The deposit will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cancellation Fees \u2013 Full Amount Paid<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation more than 30 days before the tour<\/span><br \/>Refund of the full amount will be provided, less an administrative fee of 10%.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation less than 30 days before the tour<\/span><br \/>50% of the total amount paid will be refunded.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation less than 7 days before the tour<\/span><br \/>No refund will be provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cancellation Fees \u2013 Cash Payment (50%)<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>50% of full amount is due 30 days before the tour starts in order to pay remaining amount in cash (USD) on first day of tour.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation more than 30 days before the tour<\/span><br \/>Refund of the amount paid will be provided, less an administrative fee of 10% of full amount.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cancellation less than 30 days before the tour<\/span><br \/>No refund will be provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 30px;\">Cancellation by Silk Road Holiday<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>If the tour is cancelled by the agency for any reason, clients will receive:\n<ul>\n<li>A full refund of all amounts paid (including the deposit), or<\/li>\n<li>The option to reschedule the tour or apply the payment toward a future booking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 30px;\">Force Majeure<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>If cancellation is due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics): Refunds will be issued minus any unrecoverable costs already incurred by Silk Road Holiday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 30px;\">Refund Processing<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Refunds will be processed within 90 business days from the date of cancellation.<\/li>\n<li>Refunds will be made via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 30px;\">No-Show Policy<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Failure to show up for the tour without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit and any payments made, with no refunds provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color\" style=\"color: #3b3634; font-size: 30px;\">Modification of Booking<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Clients may modify their booking up to 30 days before the tour start date, subject to availability.
