Itinerary Outline

Day 1: Bishkek City
Meet your guide and we will start Bishkek city tour including a visit to Osh Bazaar, offering an authentic local experience with fresh produce, spices, textiles, and souvenirs. It's a vibrant cultural hub, perfect for tasting Kyrgyz cuisine, exploring handicrafts, and experiencing the local way of life. We will also visit Ala-Too Square and Bishkek Central Mosque.
Day 2: Song Kul & Horse Riding
Song Kul is the largest freshwater lake in the country, at an impressive altitude of 3,016m surrounded by wide alpine pastures where nomadic herders graze horses and sheep beside traditional yurts.

The best way to experience the lake is to ride a horse, along the shores of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
Day 3: 33 Parrots Mountain Pass, Naryn & Kok-Kiya Valley
We will leave Song Kul via 33 Parrots Mountain Pass and reach Naryn, the biggest city from Kel Suu for a lunch break.

After a long day of drive, we will reach Kok-Kiya Valley where we will settle in our yurt, adjust to the increase in altitude and get ready for the hike tomorrow.
Day 4: Kel Suu (Köl Suu) & Boat Ride
Complete your last mile to Kel Suu on foot. It is the country's most remote alpine lake located close to China's border. Permits will be prepared in advance for your visit as part of your tour package.

Small motorboats will take you across the turquoise water beneath steep limestone cliffs of the Tian Shan Mountains. The ride is often windy and a little bumpy, but the dramatic scenery and reflections on the lake make it worthwhile.
Day 5: Issyk Kul & Eagle Hunting Show
Driving along Issyk Kul, a vast saline lake, never freezes despite alpine surroundings, offering stunning views and rich biodiversity.

We will arrive in Bokonbaevo where you can experience the ancient art of eagle hunting by skilled hunters.
Day 6: Fairy Tale Canyon, Barskoon & Jety Oguz
Continue our drive along the Issyk Kul, we will visit Fairytale Canyon, or Skazka Canyon, is a mesmerising destination known for its vivid red, orange, and yellow hues rock formations. Easy to explore, the canyon offers a short walk with breathtaking views of lake in the distance.

Barskoon, on the other hand, is renowned for its breathtaking waterfalls and serene natural beauty. It's a perfect spot for hiking, picnics, and photography.

Jety Oguz, or the "Seven Bulls," is a stunning valley famous for its dramatic red sandstone cliffs, resembling seven bulls and a "Broken Heart" formation. This iconic natural wonder is steeped in local legends, adding a mystical allure.
Day 7: Karakol City
Rich in history, we will spend time to visit the city's landmarks like the Dungan Mosque, built without nails, and the picturesque wooden Holy Trinity Cathedral.

We will try a traditional cold noodles soup called Ashlan Fu originated from the Dungan community (Chinese Muslims).
Day 8: Karakol Valley & Sirota Basecamp
The tour's highlight: 3-day trek to Ala Kul will start on this day. Start the day strong from Karakol Valley, following a trail along the river.

Elevation gain is gradual at first, then becomes steeper as the trail climbs above the treeline toward Sirota Basecamp. The terrain shifts to rocky ground and alpine slopes.
Day 9: Ala Kul & Keldike
This is the most demanding day. From Sirota basecamp, the trail climbs steeply on loose rock toward the pass above Ala Kul (3,860m).

From the pass, the trail descends on steep, uneven terrain toward the lake and continues down a long valley toward Keldike.
Day 10: Altyn Arashan
From Keldike, we will walk down to Altyn Arashan in the morning. And from there is the final stretch that follows a well-used track down the valley along the Ak-Suu River.

At last, we end the trek at Ak-Suu Village.
Day 11: Kyrchyn Valley, Grigorievka Gorge (Chon Ak Suu) & Chon Kemin
We will embark the journey towards Bishkek, along the way, we will enjoy our lunch at a restaurant specialises in freshly caught trout from the region.

We will drive through Kyrchyn Valley, known for being the main venue of the famous World Nomad Games, through Grigorievka Gorge (Chon Ak Suu), known for its peaks covered with coniferous forests and finally, a small but charming green lake, Zhashyl Kel.

Overnight in Chon Kemin, known to be surrounded by majestic mountain ranges and rolling meadows.
Day 12: Burana Tower & Kegety Gorge
Burana Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this ancient minaret, dating back to the 11th century, offers a glimpse into the rich Silk Road history of Kyrgyzstan.

Last stop before reaching Bishkek is Kegety Waterfall, tucked within the stunning Kegety Gorge, is a natural wonder worth visiting for its beauty and tranquility. The waterfall cascades dramatically from a height of about 20 meters, surrounded by rugged cliffs.

Best thing? The waterfall can be reached by car - no hiking required!
